Lindgren-Streicher Tapped as New Head Coach at St. Mary's

(August 24th) - Anna Lindgren-Streicher, a 14-year veteran of collegiate rowing coaching, has been announced as the new head men's and women's rowing coach at St. Mary's.

MARC Welcomes Three New Member Schools for 2018-19

(July 1st) - The Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference welcomes three new member schools for the 2018-19 academic year - Adrian College, Catholic University, and Ohio Wesleyan University. All three schools are offering rowing at the varsity level for the first time. Adrian and Catholic are sponsoring programs on both the men's and women's sides of the conference, while Ohio Wesleyan will be offering a women's varsity program. With 12 competing institutions on the women's side stretching from Rhode Island to Illinois to Virginia, the MARC is the largest conference in Division III women's rowing, both in number of schools and in geographic area.

Washington College Places Eighth at NCAA Division III Championship

(May 26th) - Representing the MARC at the NCAA Division III Championship for the sixth consecutive year, the Washington College women placed eighth in the overall team standings.

Washington College, Army Win MARC Championships

(April 24th) - Due to ongoing thunderstorms, the finals of the men's and women's varsity eights at today's MARC Championships were canceled and heat times were used to determine points for those events. Washington College won its sixth consecutive MARC Women's Championship and NCAA Division III Championships bed, while Army won the MARC Men's Championship. North Park Wins Varsity Four at Illinois Collegiate Rowing Invitational

(April 22nd) - North Park represented the MARC well at the Illinois Collegiate Rowing Invitational Saturday, winning the grand final of the varsity four.

(April 17th) - North Park's women's varsity four and Washington College's men's varsity pair took home this week's MARC Crew of the Week awards.

Three Wins for MARC Crews at Kerr Cup

(April 16th) - MARC crews won three events at Saturday's Kerr Cup. Washington College took the men's varsity pair and the women's DIII varsity eight, while North Park claimed the women's DIII varsity four.

(April 10th) - Franklin & Marshall's men's varsity eight and Johnson & Wales women's varsity eight took home this week's MARC Crew of the Week awards.

(April 3rd) - Franklin & Marshall swept this week's MARC Crews of the Week. The Diplomats' men's first and second varsity eights shared the men's award, while the F&M women's first varsity eight won the women's award.

(March 28th) - The Marietta men's varsity eight and Washington College women's varsity eight are the winners of the inaugural MARC Crew of the Week awards.

Defending Champs Impress on First Full Spring Weekend

(March 25th) - The first full weekend of spring competition saw both the defending MARC women's and men's champions impress. The Washington College women decisively won both the first and second varsity eights against fellow MARC crews at the Bryn Mawr/Cabrini Invitational, including a 13-second win over Bryn Mawr (last year's runner-up) in the first varsity eight. Marietta's men, meanwhile, turned in several impressive performances against Notre Dame and Oklahoma City on Saturday and Grand Valley State on Sunday.

Marietta Men Close Out Fall with Two Wins at Braxton Regatta

(November 12th) - Marietta's men closed out the fall season for MARC crews by winning two races and finishing second in two others at the Bill Braxton Memorial Regatta.

Marietta Men Shine at Head of the Occoquan

(November 5th) - Marietta's men put in an impressive performance at the Head of the Occoquan Saturday, winning one event and finishing second in two others.

Marietta Men Take Down Ohio State

(October 29th) - Marietta's men dominated their own Muskie Chase Saturday, including a win over Ohio State in the men's eights.

MARC Crews Find Success at Head of the Charles

(October 23rd) - Four MARC schools were represented at the Head of the Charles over the weekend. Bryn Mawr edged out Franklin & Marshall for 16th place in the women's collegiate fours. Marietta turned in an impressive 14th-place showing in the men's collegiate eights. Washington College's 25th-place finish in the men's collegiate fours was its best in nine years.

F&M Turns in Number of Strong Finishes at Occoquan Chase

(October 16th) - Several MARC teams were in action over the weekend. Franklin & Marshall led the way, racing at the Occoquan Chase Sunday. The Diplomats' women's novice four won its race, while the men's novice four did the same.

Shorewomen's Four Second at Occoquan Challenge

(October 9th) - In a light weekend of MARC rowing (only North Park and Washington College competed), a second-place finish by the Washington College women's varsity four at the Occoquan Challenge was a highlight.

North Park Gets 2017-18 Regatta Season Started

(October 2nd) - North Park was the first MARC team to compete in a regatta this year, racing in the women's collegiate four and women's collegiate novice four at the Head of the Des Moines Saturday. The Vikings' varsity boat placed fifth of eight boats, while the novices were sixth of six.

Washington College Women, Marietta Men Claim MARC Championships

(April 29th) - The 13th-ranked Washington College women's rowing team won its fifth consecutive MARC Championship by sweeping the first and second varsity eights at today's championship regatta. The Shorewomen will represent the MARC at the NCAA Division III Championships for the fifth straight year. On the men's side, Marietta's men captured its first MARC Championship on the strength of its victory in the varsity eight. Full Championship results can be found here. Bryn Mawr Cracks National Poll for First Time

(April 25th) - For the first time in program history, Bryn Mawr is nationally-ranked, checking in at 15th in this week's CRCA/USRowing Division III Top 15 Coaches Poll. The Owls swapped places with Franklin & Marshall, who missed making the ranking this week by one vote-point after coming in at 15th last week. Four-time defending conference champion Washington College is ranked 13th this week.
