Congrats to Stockton University and Adrian College for being selected as this week’s Crews of the Week!
Stockton Men’s V4 were the winners of the DIII Men’s V4 event at the Knecht Cup last weekend and Adrian Women’s walked away with the gold in the Women’s DIII Women’s V4 category!
In the Men’s V4 event, Stockton’s crew handled windy and rough conditions well, and bested a field that included MARC conference teams St. Mary's, Catholic University, Adrian and Franklin and Marshall, as well as Skidmore and Merchant Marine Academy, with the next closest crew almost 7 seconds behind (6.83). This is the first victory for Stockton Men's Rowing at this event.
In the Women’s V4 event, the Adrian Women Braved 20mph winds, holding composure and walked away with a gold medal and a time of 8:48.76, almost 14 seconds ahead of the next fastest crew (Carnegie Mellon, 9:02.64). They also went up against conference crews.
