In the first installment of the MARC Crew of the Week for the 2024 spring season, the Cabrini University Women’s Varsity 4 and the Washington College Men’s Varsity 8 were both named.
The Cabrini Women’s Varsity 4 finished 1st at the Washington College Invitational on Friday, March 22 ahead of fellow MARC schools Bryn Mawr and Stockton. “It was a great way to start our final season and for the 5 student-athletes that have kept training until the end.” Cabrini Head Coach Tim Hagan commented. It was the second time in the program's history that Cabrini finished 1st.
The Washington College Men’s Varsity 8 competed in their team’s invitational on Friday as well. In rough conditions on Friday evening, the 8 pulled out a victory over Villanova and Stockton, finishing in first place over Villanova by 5.29 seconds.
